What a shame to part out these classics.

Stevens Trusonic and Dukane/Vitavox also offered true multicells in home speakers, iirc. Of course, the granddaddy of them all was the Lansing Iconic.

Bit of minutiae- the Altec 808 is the old Lansing horn.

Actually the REAL grandaddy was Edward Wente's original multicellular horns - U.S. Patent #1,992,268

The l metal were like that. I think the original metal may have not been.

Thanks for the pix! This could not have been easy to cast, but faster than soldering up all those cells by hand.
Maybe something like this could be cast in an inert resin.
